Autumn is here and the rush is on to get the field work and drilling done before the weather changes. We are enjoying lovely walks around the farm with Oliver our Grandson and Lily & Indy our dogs. We had some misty mornings and I couldn’t resist the chance to take some photos. The hedgerows are full of Blackberries, Rose Hips, Hawthorn Berries, Crab Apples and Sloes so we should have a good harvest for the Sloe Gin which will be ready for Christmas. The Mulberry tree in the garden has produced its best ever crop and I’ve been making Mulberry and Raspberry Jelly for the B&B breakfast table.
