Bedrooms
A warm welcome awaits you when you arrive for bed and breakfast, guests have their own sitting room where you can relax and enjoy refreshment with homemade cake on arrival or in the afternoons when you return from your days out.

Both ensuite rooms are south facing, and look out over the garden. Tea, coffee, water and a wide selection of refreshments are provided.

Bath sheet, hand towels and a bathrobe are provided to help make your stay pleasant and relaxing. A variety of toiletries including Molten Brown and Bronnley are provided in the bathroom along with other items often forgotten when packing for a holiday.
The rooms also have books, magazines, Freeview TV, DVD player, Clock Radio and Hair dryer.
The double bed room offers a Super King-size zip & link bed and the twin beds are standard size. The duvets are ‘all season’ offering you a choice of Tog values of 4, 9 or 13 and the duvets used on the twin beds are double size.

Sitting Room
Guests are welcome to use the sitting room where homemade cakes, tea, coffee and other beverages are available. Local information, maps, places of interest to visit, bird watching information and games are provided. A small fridge is available for guests to use.
We do not offer evening meals as there are several places to eat locally. We have two Restaurants, within 1 ½ mile of the St Osyth area and both offer a Take Away service and guests may use the breakfast room in the evenings by prior arrangement.
All diets are catered for but please let me know if you have any special requirements at the time of booking.
Breakfast
Enjoy a leisurely start to the day in the Breakfast Room which looks out over the pond and garden. The following menu is available and wherever possible I use local produce including bacon from Wick Manor Pork in Maldon, the sausages are made at our local butchers in St Osyth and the bread is made at the Bakehouse in Clacton. Eggs are from our own hens and not pasteurised
All diets are catered for but please let me know if you have any special requirements.
Breakfast Menu
- ~ A choice of Fresh fruit, Homemade Fruit Compote, Orange juice, Copella Apple juice and a variety of cereal.
- ~ A ‘Full English Breakfast’ consisting of grilled sausages, bacon, tomato, fried bread, fried egg and mushrooms is served using British local produce where possible, or, if you prefer, scrambled or poached eggs.
- ~ Locally made bread, brown, white or wholemeal can be toasted and there are home-made preserves, marmalades, local honey, savoury spreads, butter and low fat spread available.
- ~ We also offer Poached Smoked Haddock and locally Smoked Salmon but I would need 12 hours’ notice please.
- ~ A Continental style breakfast is also available.
- ~ English Breakfast Tea, Earl Grey Tea, Fruit/Herb teas, or Cafetiere of Coffee (Decaffeinated available).
Tariff For 2012
Based on 2 sharing in twin or double room and includes breakfast
From £68 per room per night.
Single occupancy of twin or double room
From £48 per room per night.
A discount may be offered for longer stays.
Payment can be made by Electronic Transfer, Cash or Cheque to Mrs Brenda Lord on arrival. I am unable to accept Credit/Debit Cards at the present time.
